The Southeast Michigan Dyke March decided to create a place to both promote our local Dyke March and other Dyke Marches around the world.
The first Dyke March was held in New York City in 1993 in response to Gay Pride events being male centered. Dyke Marches are all about lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer inclusion, visibility and equality. An all-inclusive space is our goal.
